Project Introduction
This is a contemporary interior design project located in Australia. The project focuses on three key areas of the residence—the hallway, living room, and bathroom—with each space designed to elevate the everyday experience through a sophisticated yet welcoming aesthetic.The design eschews ornate decoration in favor of clean geometric lines, warm neutral materials, and carefully controlled lighting, creating an elegant yet comfortable environment that stands the test of time.
LOUNGE
The lounge area is designed as an elegant residential space. Custom wall panels blend stone, vertical wood veneer, and concealed lighting to create a richly layered visual focal point, balancing the building’s solemnity with a soft aesthetic.
Curved seating adds fluidity to the layout, softening the surrounding architecture’s geometric lines. Distinctive pendant lighting further enhances the space’s design character. Soft beige, wood tones, and dark accents ensure harmonious cohesion throughout. The overall ambiance fosters relaxation while meeting the demands of refined daily living.
HALLWAY
The corridor’s design philosophy transcends its role as a transitional bridge. It stands as a vital component within the project’s architectural framework. Generous vertical space and extended sightlines create an expansive, airy atmosphere at the entrance.
Minimalist wall treatments and concealed doors maintain visual continuity, reinforcing the space’s serene ambiance. Linear ceiling lighting subtly guides the corridor’s circulation flow.
BATH
The bathroom design concept centers on creating a comfortable and private sanctuary, hence materials were selected with understated luxury in mind. Large-format stone surfaces establish a clean architectural foundation, while warm wood grain textures soften the overall visual impact.
The circular backlit mirror serves as the focal point of the vanity area, combining practicality with sculptural appeal. Floating cabinets enhance the sense of lightness, while brushed gold hardware adds understated elegance. Carefully designed lighting further elevates the space’s refined ambiance.
