Before requesting a price

Define the same stone before comparing quotations

A low figure is not useful if thickness, finish, edge detail or crating has been left open. Ask every supplier to quote from the same drawings and state what is included.

A recent stone order

From the workshop to the loaded container

This cut-to-size marble tile order moved through the same checkpoints described above: dimensions and materials were confirmed first, pieces were cut and checked in the workshop, and every crate was then loaded into the container for export. The photographs below come from that order.

Materials and finishes

Stone performs as a complete specification

A material name is only the start. Batch, veining, thickness, finish, edge and backing must suit the application, the budget and the site conditions.

Marble

Chosen for veined countertops, walls and floors where a natural look matters.

  • Approve color and veining from slab photos
  • Confirm thickness and finish
  • Review sealing and maintenance
  • Expect natural variation between pieces

Quartz

Engineered surfaces for consistent color and heavy-use countertops.

  • Confirm series and color reference
  • Specify thickness and edge profile
  • Review heat and use limitations
  • Check batch consistency for large orders

Granite

Durable option for worktops, floors and selected exterior applications.

  • Confirm color and grain from photos
  • Specify finish for the exposure
  • Review thickness for the span
  • Check availability for the quantity

Natural Stone Tiles

Cut tiles for floors, walls and feature surfaces in various stone types.

  • Confirm stone type and batch
  • Specify sizes, thickness and finish
  • Review mesh backing where required
  • Approve layout direction and veining

Choose the surface finish

Polished, honed and leathered finishes change both the look and the daily maintenance of the same material. Approve the finish on a physical sample where possible.

  • Polished for a reflective surface
  • Honed for a matte, softer look
  • Leathered for texture and grip
  • Finish must suit the application

Specify edges and cutouts

Edge profiles and cutouts are finished before packing. Define them with the order instead of relying on site adjustments.

  • Eased, bevel, bullnose or mitred edges
  • Sink, hob and tap cutouts
  • Backsplash and upstand details
  • Reinforcement for long or thin pieces

Who we supply

One bathroom, a repeated room type or a whole building

The required paperwork changes with the job. A homeowner may start with photos and rough sizes; a contractor usually starts with drawings; a developer may also need batch reservation, phased release and package labels.

Homeowners and Renovators

Share room photos, rough dimensions and material references. A local installer should verify final measurements, substrate and fixing before cutting.

Designers and Contractors

Use dimension lists from the project drawings so sizes, finishes, revisions and quotations remain traceable from room to room.

Developers and Hospitality Teams

Repeated room types and phased deliveries benefit from batch reservation, an approved reference piece and labels that follow the installation sequence.

From drawings to delivery

How a custom stone order is developed

Each step closes a different source of error. The approved material, dimensions and finish references should stay aligned with the pieces that are cut, checked and crated.

  1. Send the briefShare the project location, drawings, dimensions, quantities and required timing.
  2. Select the materialApprove the stone type, color and veining from slab photos or samples.
  3. Confirm the specificationSet thickness, finish, edge profile, cutouts and backing.
  4. Approve the scopeConfirm quotation inclusions, the dimension list and samples before cutting.
  5. Cut and checkProduce against approved information and inspect the agreed items.
  6. Crate and loadProtect pieces in wooden crates, label packages and arrange container loading.

Local review is still required. The project architect, contractor or local installer should confirm final site dimensions, substrate, waterproofing, fixing methods and applicable local requirements. Natural stone varies; photographs cannot replace slab or sample approval.

Review production before you shortlist

Stone production process walkthrough

Use the production video to review how stone is cut, finished and prepared for packing. The exact material, color and batch are confirmed separately from slab photos or samples.

Stone countertop production and finishing

What the video can and cannot show

  • It shows: cutting, finishing and edge work in the workshop.
  • It shows: how pieces are checked and prepared for packing.
  • It does not prove: the color or veining of your final batch — natural stone varies.
  • Final specification: confirmed from slab photos or samples, not from the video alone.

Choose stone by application

One material range, six applications

The same supply process serves different rooms and surfaces. These applications indicate the uses only; final material, thickness and finish are always confirmed against the individual project.

Questions before ordering

Custom marble and stone FAQ

These answers cover the first enquiry. Product-specific commitments belong in the quotation, approved dimension list and samples.

Can you cut stone to my dimensions?

Yes. Send the drawings or a dimension list with thickness, finish and edge details. We organize the quotation by application and identify missing information that must be confirmed before cutting.

Can I order stone for one home only?

Yes. We work with homeowners as well as designers, contractors, developers and hospitality buyers. The piece list, crating and shipping plan are prepared around the actual order and destination.

How is the color and veining confirmed?

Natural stone varies between blocks and batches. The material is approved from current slab photos or physical samples before cutting, and the approved reference defines the expected look of the order.

Which materials are available?

The range includes marble, quartz, granite and natural stone tiles for countertops, vanity tops, table tops, feature walls, flooring and selected exterior applications. Availability depends on the color, size and quantity required.

Which thicknesses, finishes and edges can I choose?

Common thicknesses are offered per application; finishes include polished, honed and leathered; edges include eased, bevel, bullnose and mitred profiles. Final options are confirmed against the material and the drawing.

Are samples available?

Most small samples are usually free; you only need to pay for shipping. Sample availability and size depend on the selected material, color and finish.

Do you provide installation?

Stone is supplied cut, finished and crated with available product information in the agreed scope. On-site measurement and installation depend on the location and contract. A local installer should verify final dimensions, substrate, waterproofing and fixing.

Can stone ship with other building materials?

It can be coordinated with cabinets, doors, windows or other materials when the order, timing and destination allow combined loading. Crating, weight distribution and container allocation should be confirmed before production.
